This short film is about the Prater amusement park in Vienna. More specifically, it offers a glimpse of the intersection between the rides and the lives of those who run the machines from their control/ticket booth. The aim is to show, on the one hand, a close-up of the day-to-day inner workings of this attendant in the control/ticket booth – the noise and smoke machines, the MCing, the light switches, all of which he/she orchestrates. On the other hand, we reverse the power dynamic by placing the attendant within his own contraption in order to see what becomes of the relationship when it is inverted.
